Rudy Francisco Love Poem

This is another one of my favorite artist, his name is Rudy Francisco. What I practically like about him is his play on words and how he puts them together, he paints in image in your mind like a story teller reading a book. His great use of metaphors make you just want to say "ooohhhh dammnnn!" and give you goose bumps.

You can't help but smile and laugh all the way through.

Poetri and Money

Here is another artist who was featured on Def poetry Jam. He name is Poetri.

He is one of the most funniest poets I've watched, he's poems are touching and deserve a listen; however it's he approach to telling his poems that make him so unique.

In this poem he talks about money, and how money has done so many things to him, but he talks about money as if it were a person, a female to be exact.

Black Ice On Def Jam Poetry

This is a poet I found named Black Ice, this piece of spoken word poetry that he did right here on def jam was one of thee most remediable poems that had ever touched the def jam stage.

He talks about the music industry and how it has effected the community and influences the mind of many people.

This poem opened my eyes and touched me the most, because he talks about the "Truth".

Listen to it and tell me if you agree or disagree with me.

Art & Film

Films and Movies have many aspects that carry a poetic tone.

In Silliman's Blog he explores the good and bad ways that film makers portray art.

Life in Words

Words and Letters that have come to life. You would think Victor Frankenstein himself as decided to enter the world of poetry.

But really it is Christian Bok and his attempt to put his (art) work within a sequence on DNA. His blog is his journey to make it happen, working with Technology to bring his poetry to life.

"I am, in effect, engineering a life-form so that it becomes not only a durable archive for storing a poem, but also an operant machine for writing a poem—" Christian Bok
